Celery Lemon Gin & Tonic

Celery Lemon Gin & Tonic

ingredients:

1 celery stalk - cut into 1 inch pieces

1 lemon

Fever Tree Tonic Water

Pinch of Salt

2 oz Gin

Crushed Ice

INstructions:

  1. In a cocktail shaker, add the. celery, juice of 1/2 a lemon and a small pinch of salt ( about 1/4 of a teaspoon).

  2. Using a muddler, crush the celery so it releases its juices. The salt should aid in breaking down the celery.

  3. Taste the celery, lemon and salt mixture. You should be able to taste a hint of salt. The salt MAKES the cocktail. Trust me!

  4. Next add in your gin and give it a stir.

  5. Pour the mixture into a nice glass and then fill to the top with crushed ice.

  6. Lastly, pour your Fever Tree Tonic over the top of the the crushed ice until it reached the top of the glass.

  7. Garnish with a lemon slice.
